The main assets

The Hotel train combines the comfort of a hotel and all the advantages of a train. ELIPSOS offers numerous formulas to travel in comfort in fully air conditioned carriages:

GREAT LUXURY CLASS:
individual or double compartments with shower, wash basin and toilet in the cabin. Individual air conditioning. Toiletry set. Every carriage consists of 5 cabins. Breakfast and
dinner in the restaurant included.

FIRST CLASS:
individual or double compartments with wash basin in the cabin. Individual air conditioning. Toiletry set. Every carriage consists of 6 cabins with a wash basin. Breakfast included. Toilet at the extremity of each carriage.

TOURISM CLASS:
compartments of 4 beds with wash basin in the cabin. Centralised air conditioning. Toiletry complements. Every carriage consists of 5 cabins and a wash basin. Toilet at the extremity of each carriage.

SUPER RECLINING SEATS:
20 seats in 1st class, reclining to 140° per carriage. Air conditioning. Bottle of mineral water. Toilet at the extremity of the carriage.

Restaurant car: dinner à la carte.
Bar car.

The on board staff specialised in international travel, composed of bilingual staff of the Compagnie Wagons-Lits (group Accor), will welcome you and look after you for the duration of your journey and wake you before your arrival.

Elipsos offers a single journey Madrid /Barcelona - Paris from as little as 69.00 € in Tourism Class. Tariff subject to terms and conditions.

Exchange terms

Where: In any SNCF station or shop or the travel agency where you bought your tickets.
Under which conditions are the Elipsos tickets exchangeable?

You can change the date, class and tariff once providing that:

• the new date is not 90 days later than the date of the original ticket.
  
• the new date remains within the anticipated sale period.
• the special conditions corresponding to the tariff allow it.

These changes are allowed before the first journey: adult, offer, offer couple return, offer family, offer Monday to Thursday, offer mini and couple mini.

 

Refund

You have bought your ticket on www.tgv-europe.com

You are in France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train, SNCF shop or on 36 35 (0.23 €/min): you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service (address below).


You are outside France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train in a CFF, SNCB, NS, CFL station or SNCF shop: you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service.

You have bought your ticket at a travel agency: contact the agency that issued your ticket.

The Elipsos tickets without booking are exchangeable:

• with a deduction of 90 %* before departure and 50 % after departure, if you hold a ticket Adult, Child, Leisure, Discovery Trip, Discovery 12-25, Discovery Senior and Offer Monday to Thursday.
  
• with a deduction of 50 % before departure for tickets Mini 2 and Discovery 4.
  

*The fee is calculated on the price of the initial journey
The other tariffs are non-refundable.

 

Guaranteed time promise

Your Hotel train Elipsos reached its destination 1 hour later than the planned time, for a journey of or superior to 100 km?
If the delay is attributable to Elipsos*, a compensation in the shape of a «Bon Voyage» is offered to the passengers. It represents one third of the price of the ticket. The amount of the compensation cannot be less than 4.60 €**.

To receive this compensation:
Complete the envelope «regularity» available when you get off the train, insert the original ticket.
Mail it (postage paid in France).

*This commitment is invalid if the cause of the delay is not attributable to the SNCF (characterised act of malevolence, demonstration by persons not belonging to the SNCF, obstacle on the tracks ...).
